Intuitive Reading Disclosure Statement and Client Agreement

I have been studying intuition, under a variety of mentors, since 2013. In 2022, I decided to offer intuition services professionally and formed my business Kara.Vision.

Description of Services
​
As an Intuitive Medium, I share what I see, hear, feel. I offer personal readings and case readings (missing persons/other). I primarily use Clairvoyance (seeing images in my mind’s eye), Clairaudience (hearing in my mind – like recalling a song), and Claircognizance (a knowingness). Sessions may also include the use of remote viewing, sketching/drawing, cards, hand dowsing, model making, and/or other methods. Additionally, sessions may include intuition coaching if the client desires to strengthen their own intuitive abilities. Primarily, I receive a lot of symbols as Clairvoyance is my strongest and most favorite sense and is the reason I chose Kara.Vision as the domain for my website. I strive to minimize interpretation of what I receive in a session to allow the client (a person 18 years or older, or an entity) to determine what the information means.

No Professional Advice

My work as a Professional Intuitive Medium is not a substitute for medical, psychological, financial, or legal professional services. I, Kara Sunderland, am a Registered Nurse (RN) and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), and NOT a licensed Medical Doctor, Mental Health Counselor, Psychotherapist, Psychologist, Financial Advisor, or Lawyer. It is not in the scope of the RN or IBCLC to diagnose or to practice medicine. I, Kara Sunderland, do NOT diagnose, prescribe, treat, or cure any mental, physical, or emotional issues/illnesses/problems nor do I give financial or legal advice. Suggestions offered, if any, are for the purpose of general well-being, information, or entertainment. It is ALWAYS recommended that clients seek the services of the appropriate professional. If, during a session or other communication it becomes apparent to me that the client would benefit from the services of a professional, then I will share that with the client, and attempt to make some referrals if needed. It may be necessary, depending on the situation, to withhold or delay my services until the client has the support of the appropriate professional.
Sessions are confidential; any statements made and any information provided are also considered confidential and not disclosed unless required by law. I also retain the right to terminate sessions and refuse services. Services provided under false pretenses by the client will be deemed null and void; I reserve the right to terminate such a session at my discretion, and the client is not entitled to a refund of any fees paid if my services were engaged under false pretenses.

Although everyone has intuition, and the development of using intuition to support our everyday lives is increasingly gaining acceptance, sessions legally fall under the umbrella of “fortune telling” and “for entertainment purposes” only. I have a Business (Fortune-Telling) License, issued by the County of San Diego Sheriff’s Department File #FT-0011, which includes a background check, live scan fingerprinting, and photos. The license is renewed annually.

Benefits & Risks
​
Intuitive Sessions can be a helpful method of gaining perspective, understanding, insight, clarity, direction, and/or confirmation. Information that comes through may also not be relevant or not be relevant at the current time.

Any Intuitive/ Psychic /Medium can be wrong. Mistakes, errors, misinterpretations, and miscommunications are all possible. I do not and cannot guarantee the accuracy of the information provided. I do not predict the future and any such request, if attempted, is to be considered a possible outcome, which of course is impossible to guarantee.

I offer my services with integrity and for the purpose of serving the client’s highest good. I have no authority over any client’s life, self-understanding, or future. I do not tell clients what to do or who they are. Clients, at all times, are in charge of their own lives and are free to live their lives however they choose.
While sessions are completely confidential, the use of any website/communication/digital platform (Google Meet, Zoom, Skype, email, texts etc.) entails certain risks and, while all reasonable precautions are taken, I cannot guarantee the acts of third-party services providers regarding the security of our electronic communications.

I do not provide recordings of sessions and ask that clients not record sessions without obtaining my permission in advance. To retain confidentiality, Clients and I agree not to publish any part of a session or other communications between us.

Release of Liability & Consent to Receive Services

You, the Client, hereby agree that you have read and understand this Disclosure Statement and Client Agreement in full. You, the Client, hereby agree that services provided are at your own risk. Kara Sunderland hereby disclaims any liability to any person or entity for any damages or loss (including, but not limited to consequential, incidental, indirect, mental, physical, special, or other) caused in relation to any information, suggestion(s), or advice provided to Clients through any service offered personally or through this web site. You agree that you assume the risk of all of your own actions and decisions based on any information relayed by any person during your session(s).

By engaging in my services, you agree that you and your representatives fully release me, Kara Sunderland and anyone associated with me or my business, from all known or unknown claims against me related to any information resulting from services provided by me. You further agree to waive all action, claims, compensation, damages (financial, mental, legal, other), demands, for any perceived or real injuries or losses you may suffer or believe to have suffered because of your reading/session with me, Kara Sunderland.
